Palmer/Lingard Wedding

The best gigs are the ones that come out of nowhere.
I am so glad I was able to play for Kayleen and Grant's special day. The location was so beautiful and cozy in the middle of a neighborhood backed by a large park with hanging lights and fluffy white tulle everywhere. They wisely had me placed by the pool where large flower creations floated among tiny flickering candles and the sound of the harp bounced off the water and weaved through the whole party. The decorations were absolutely lovely.

The clear christmas ornaments dangling from trees were so delicate and whimsical it perfectly accented the white lights and slightly vintage feel.

And the cake wasn't half bad, either!

Vanilla cake with an absolutely scrumptious raspberry filling and sweet buttercream icing, I just had to have two pieces. Lovingly made by one of the wedding party I heard! So delicious.

The bride and groom (well, at least mostly the bride) were so pleased with how it turned out and that's the whole reason why I do weddings. The smiles of clients on the day they will remember for the rest of their lives is a special kind of joy of which I can't get enough.

All the best wishes to Kayleen and Grant!
